Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments. Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate. Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and six grandchildren. Outside of the office, Gordon's favorite activities include adult soccer and fishing. Having been a Board Member of The Virginia Securities Association and The Chesterfield Adult Soccer Association, Gordon is a proponent of being active in local organizations. Since coming onboard, Gordon has been recognized for many achievements: Branch Manager of the Year (2012), Master's Club (2011-2014) and Branch Managers Advisory Council (2013-2014). His decision to come to Janney was based on Janney's true commitment to helping clients achieve their financial goals. He worked as an educator and coach prior to beginning his financial services career and joined Janney in April of 2009. The services and solutions that Gordon provides to his clients through Janney cover a wide range of areas. By using all of Janney's resources and capabilities, Gordon strives to provide recommendations for his clients with a minimized risk factor. During his 34 years of experience in the financial industry, Gordon has developed a client service philosophy that focuses on helping clients achieve their long-term financial goals. Gordon serves as Senior Vice President/Investments and Branch Manager in the Richmond office of Janney Montgomery Scott. He also serves the community as a member of the Greensboro Urban Ministry development committee and the Order of Malta, where he holds the title of knight. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as playing the guitar. Rob lives in Greensboro, NC, with his wife, Jodi. While at BB&T Scott & Stringfellow, Rob was appointed as chair of the advisory board where he worked to ensure that all clients received a similar service experience. Rob previously served at Truist, and its predecessor BB&T Scott & Stringfellow. Rob has a passion for providing outstanding service and helping clients achieve financial success. While his focus is on the management of these offices and recruiting exceptional Financial Advisors to the Firm, he continues to help his clients effectively manage their financial needs and develop personalized investment solutions through a variety of shifting market environments. With over 25 years of industry experience as well as several years focusing on team development and maximization, Rob manages Janney’s Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Pinehurst offices in North Carolina.
